Pie Funds client manager Thom Bentley has left the firm after joining it in June last year.

Bentley's role at the boutique funds management firm was to build up its client base and products. It has gone from having one fund to four. Of those four three are now closed to new money.

Bentley said he felt he had achieved what he wanted at the firm and it was time to move on. While there are no firm plans he is looking at a number of different opportunities at the moment.

No announcement has been made yet on whether he will be replaced.

Bentley has over 25 years' experience in the investment industry and has held senior sales, marketing and client service positions with a number of global investment firms.
