Darren Pratley to leave TNP

Monday, November 18th 2013, 10:59AM

Darren Pratley  is leaving TNP after finishing a three year term with the dealer group.  He started with the dealer group to build its mortgage division and has been general manager for distribution and marketing for the past 15 months.

TNP chief executive Jeff Pagesaid Pratley "has been an important part of our team and has provided us with expertise and support in the home loan area and then latterly across our entire business”.

Pratley said that TNP home loans has nearly 70 members.  "Over this time we have seen many mortgage brokers develop their business into a financial services advice model with a new and positive client service proposition.  This has to be the way of the future and more mortgage brokers need to look at developing this.”

While he ran home loans he has spent considerable time within the insurance distribution side of the business and working with both the insurance companies and advisers to enhance the sale of financial services products with an advice model philosophy.

Pratley intends to have an extended break into the New Year and then will begin looking for the next challenge.

TNP will not be replacing the role.  TNP director Jamie Coltman will be taking over the management of TNP Home loans and he will be working very closely with its home loans business development manager Jodi Anderson.

Jeff Page will take over the management of TNP Risk Distribution and the BDM Team.
