ASB and its siblings introrduced a one-year special of 5.95% on Friday. Also it is increasing its cash contribution offer for new lending. For people borrowing more than $250,000 the cash contribution will rise 50% from $2000 to $3000.
Meanwhile Kiwibank has increased short term rates by between 10 and 19 basis points. Lowered four and five year rates 19 and 25 points respoectively and introduced a three year special of 6.29%.
