Kerry Buddle was sentenced in the Wellington District Court after defrauding clients of more than $800,000.
She has been jailed for 4 years and 3 months on 27 charges relating to clients and three others relating to defrauding the Ministry of Social Development.
Judge Peter Hobbs said she had offended against victims who were vulnerable and, in many cases, financially naive. He did give her a discount because of her guilty plea but said no other discount was possible.
