With no home loan rate changes today it's a good time to highlight how the lending world is changing. Yesterday the Retirement Commissioner, Dianne Maxwell, saw one of her goals achieved and that was the launch of a micro-finance business. While it is not in the home lending area, it's good to see some options for people to avoid crippling interest rates charged by some loan sharks.
Also yesterday we learnt that the first peer-to-peer lending business is about to open its doors for business.
