CFA putting investors first

Tuesday, May 12th 2015, 8:05PM

The CFA Society is joining its peers around the world and recognising May as Putting Investors First Month.

The global initiative seeks to build awareness and unite investment professionals in a commitment to place investor interests above all others.

Throughout May, many of the 144 CFA societies will host local events, and call attention to the needs and rights of investors by endorsing the Statement of Investor Rights, a list of 10 rights that any investor should expect from financial service providers. Asset managers are urged to adopt the Asset Managers Code of Ethics and Professional Standards which enshrines ethical principles for financial service providers.
