Fund manager investor relations, advice and services personnel are likely to be sought after over the coming years, a new survey suggests.
Custodian BNP Paribas surveyed trustee directors, chief executives and senior managers in the retirement savings industry in New Zealand and Australia to identify the long-term issues and where the jobs of the future might be.
A small number of responses related to the New Zealand industry.
Asked where the superannuation jobs would be in 2025, 31% said in member relations, advice and services, 22% in digital and technology services, 19% in investment and analysis, 13% in marketing and communication and 8% in compliance and risk management.
It found that some behind-the-scenes jobs would become less important as managers opted to outsource.
