Indications interest rates may not fall further

SBS has made a number of changes to its rates. The most significant is that it has increased its floating rate 10-basis points to 5.69%. There is a vie forming that even though the Reserve Bank may cut the official cash rate this year, interest rates may not fall any further because of changes to the cost of funding due to overseas wobbles and margin pressure on banks.
