Milford will close its capital raising for the Milford PE Fund II at its hard cap limit of $150 million.

The PE Fund was oversubscribed from current and new Milford investors.  Investors in the PE Fund include high net worth individuals, family offices, Iwi, institutional investors and community trusts.  Milford says the fund will bring a number of new investors to the private equity asset class.

"Milford will seek to deliver superior returns for investors in the PE Fund by finding and assisting high growth mid-sized companies in New Zealand to develop and potentially list on the New Zealand or Australian share markets.  This fund extends on Milford’s philosophy of active management."

Brooke Bone and John Johnston are the Investment Directors of the new PE Fund.
