Mortgage Express is pleased to announce the appointment of Duane Aarts.

Thursday, March 8th 2018, 11:02AM

Prior to joining Mortgage Express, Duane spent 18 years in retail banking working for Commonwealth Bank in Australia and ASB and Westpac in New Zealand, with the majority of that time spent in a bank manager role.

Duane’s wealth of knowledge and financial expertise combined with a genuine desire to work closely with his clients provides him with the opportunity to help more people into their own homes.

“Nobody wants a home loan; they want their first home, they want to build a new home, they want an investment. My goal isn’t to get my clients a loan, it is to get them into the home they want,” says Duane.

“Being a bank manager, there’s not many scenarios that I haven’t seen or been involved in when it comes to purchasing or refinancing. I have the experience to assist in all situations, but never lose sight of the fact that it is all about what the client needs.”

Sarah Johnston, Mortgage Express chief executive says the home buying process can be daunting for many home buyers.

“Duane has the ability to cut through the jargon and simplify the process in a way that ensures clients feel informed every step of the way.”

Duane will be based in Christchurch at the Harcourts Grenadier offices and will provide a range of advisory services including mortgage finance and personal lending.

“Getting the right advice from someone who genuinely has your interests in mind can make the experience of buying a home that much more rewarding,” says Duane.
