NZers willing but unable to own homes

More people are renting - not because they don't want to buy own home but because they can't afford to buy. The Massey University/Real Estate Institute survey shows that home ownership in New Zealand has fallen from a world high of 73.7 percent in 1986 to 66 percent in 2001.
