Tourists driven away by high rents
Homeowners charging unrealistic summer rents for their properties are being warned they could drive tourists away.
Birgit Neumann, managing director of Nelson Tourism Services, said homeowners had "cottoned on" to the demand for private summer homes and prices were "fairly steep".
