2002 commercial property returns still strong

The Property Council says commercial property in New Zealand continues to provide strong returns, with figures for 2002 showing healthy increases.

While some markets dipped slightly in income, most enjoyed an increase in total returns as a result of improved capital, the council said.

According to the council's investment performance index , retail and industrial properties continued to provide the highest annual returns.
