'King Con' property dealer operating in NZ

A property tycoon on trial for his part in allegedly duping hundreds of Kiwis into buying overpriced Gold Coast property is operating similar businesses in New Zealand.

Dudley Quinlivan has been accused of misleading or deceptive conduct in a case brought by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), being heard in Brisbane's Federal Court...

Quinlivan's companies are selling property in this country in a similar manner through Auckland Financial Management Corporation (AFMC), which was subject to a Commerce Commission investigation this year. Quinlivan is a director and sole shareholder of Robb Resources NZ, which owns AFMC and other companies trading in New Zealand.
