Conviction relieves real estate agents

North Shore real estate agents are breathing sighs of relief after two people who targeted open homes in a three-month spree were convicted of theft.

Glenfield residents Sharon Andrea Cann, 33, and Edward Junior Waller, 28, have been convicted of 26 counts of theft in the Auckland District Court. They appear for sentencing on November 5.

The couple targeted expensive Auckland properties, some of them priced at more than $1 million, by attending weekend open homes.
