Barfoot & Thompson reports a slight fall in the Auckland real estate property market for November, when the average sale price dropped to $414,742 from October’s record high of $422,001, which was helped by a single $7 million sale.

Just over 40% of sales were for $500,000 or more. The volume of sales dropped to 1306 from 1472 the previous month, but the November result is well up on the same period last year.
The rental market was steady with 633 houses and units let. The average weekly rental was $330, up from $329 in October.
