Ingham twins looking to return

The Ingham twins, who shot to notoriety in 1997 when they stowed away on a container ship leaving New Zealand and survived jumping overboard into shark-infested Australian waters, are looking at renting a home in Nelson.

Property manager Glenn Morris said he met Joanne Ingham in Nelson on New Year's Eve. "Joanne and I looked at a three-bedroom house in Richmond on New Year's Eve after Nelson Work and Income referred her to me," Mr Morris said.

Joanne and her twin Sarha, now 25, returned from Malaysia late last year, where they had been living with their Malaysian husbands since they wed in 1999
