Warning for home owners
Wellington City Council is warning home owners to keep an eye on cliff faces on their properties after a landslide destroyed a Karaka Bay Rd house.

Building consents and licensing services director George Skimming said property owners should include cliff faces in regular home maintenance.
They should also clear drains and set aside money each year for protection, maintenance and repair work to house and section.
