NZ markets have peaked, says AMP

New Zealand has just gone through an investment "sweet spot", with shares, investment and residential property showing strong returns.

However, don't expect to see a repeat in the next three years, AMP Henderson chief investment officer Paul Dyer warned yesterday.

"It is most unlikely that the next three years will see returns from any of those asset classes as strong as the last three years have been," he said.

New Zealand was headed for a "material growth slowdown at some point", he said.
