One of Kinloch's most famous properties is up for sale again.

It is Seven Oaks, the family farm once owned by former Prime Minister and Governor General Sir Keith Holyoake.
He was one of the developers of the Kinloch area and the farm name came from the number of people in the family - the Holyoakes themselves and their five children.
Real estate agents dealing with the property say it is 650 hectares with substantial development potential, on Whangamata Rd at the junction to Kinloch.
It has spectacular views over Kinloch township, out across Lake Taupo and over Mt Ruapehu and Ngauruahoe. It was sold out of the family some years ago but is now back on the market.
Paul O'Sullivan, of marketing agents Bayleys Realty Group's Rotorua office, says the property is being offered for sale by GSL Capital Limited, which is currently in the process of selling down a selection of properties in its forestry portfolio. The company has recently sold 10 properties in the Bay of Plenty region through Bayleys.
