Housing New Zealand (HNZ) has invited Sheryll Lewis and Ron Monaghan to return to their Kingi Place home in Awatapu "within six weeks" and told them that if they wish to transfer to another HNZ home they will have to line up alongside others seeking state house accommodation.
Mrs Lewis believes her family has suffered enough from contact with the cancer-causing substances dioxin and pentachlorophenol (PCP) on the Kingi Place property where she has lived for 20 years.
