by The Landlord

Allan Myers of Barfoot & Thompson says the property was sold last week to a benevolent New Zealand family with strong environmental and conservation values. The family doesn't want to be identified or any other details of the sale published.

They wish to reassure the New Zealand public that the property will not be developed but continue to be farmed and improved in close consultation with the Departmant of Conservation, local community, iwi, surfers and other interest groups.
