Justin Brown, 28, allegedly altered documents to exaggerate the value of his properties by $443,000, which he used as security to buy more property.

He also allegedly altered a sale and purchase agreement for his own gain, instead of sharing the profit with his employer - ABC Realty, which traded as Tommy's Real Estate.

Brown appeared in Palmerston North District Court yesterday for a depositions hearing, where he entered no plea.
