Surprise move; A rates cut

While fixed home loan rates have been rising ASB has gone the other way. It has dropped its two-year fixed home loan rate by 20 basis points.

ASB says it has been able to reduce its two-year fixed rate pricing in response to recent wholesale swap rate movements.
