Three people have been announced as Assistant Governors.
One is Kate Kolich, who will run the RBNZ's information management, data, statistics and analytics functions. She has worked at the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority, and had almost 20 years experience at the BNZ.
Another appointee is Sarah Owen, who will oversee risk compliance and legal services along with privacy and anti-money laundering. She has joined the RBNZ from the Guardians of the NZ Superannuation Fund.
A third appointee is Greg Smith, who will run finance and commercial operations. Smith is a Chartered Accountant and was formerly CFO at Steel and Tube Holdings Limited.
Smith will replace Mike Wolyncewicz, who leaves in May after 21 years with RBNZ.
These appointments come on the back of a number of departures.
The bank's Head of Supervision, Andy Wood, and Head of Financial System Policy and Analysis, Toby Fiennes, will leave over the coming months.
The moves come as the bank is adjusting its senior management structure.
While new roles have been created to support the new leadership structure, Andy Wood and Toby Fiennes have chosen not to pursue roles in the new structure.
They have both been praised for their work by the RBNZ Governor Adrian Orr.
Their departure follows other high level changes including the departure of Deputy Governor Geoff Bascand.
