This year a key goal is to provide you with unique content that is not just news, but also practical and positive stories to help advisers.

We felt the last few years have been heavily focussed on regulation and now we are are year into the so-called "new world of advice" it was an appropriate time to introduce some new features.

For many years Russell Hutchinson and Jon-Paul Hale have provided excellent Opinion pieces - some which have helped change how health and life companies operate.

Joining them is Steve Wright. His first piece is Advisers must know their products

Next you will see a monthly series, sponsored by Asteron Life, which showcases claims stories and how advisers have helped their clients. After all, claims is where the real value of good financial advice kicks in.

The series is designed to be helpful to other advisers and it will provide practical case studies.

In this series we will be showcasing advisers who are members of MDRT.

The second series we are introducing is a four-parter taking findings from AIA's Wellbeing survey and providing practical tips for advisers to help with their Wellbeing and mental health.

Watch out for the first piece on Monday.

I would recommend you take time out to read the report as it has some very useful information. Our goal was to produce stories which are positive and help advisers. After all being an adviser can be a tough gig and for many it is lonely.

At Good Returns we wanted to have a focus this year on providing more good, positive stories which will help you.
