JBWere chief executive Craig Patrick says the decision marks a significant step in the long-term strategy to continue delivering client-centric solutions.

"This decision reflects our commitment to delivering the best possible outcomes for our clients," he says.

"FNZ provides a globally recognised wealth management platform with local expertise that aligns with our ambition to provide flexible, tailored services. We are focused on remaining at the forefront of industry change, drawing on global experience and adapting to evolving regulatory and technological landscapes."

Client experience remains central to the transition, which will be phased over two years. The FNZ platform impressed FirstCape with its robust architecture and ability to deliver for our clients.

FirstCape CEO Malcolm Jackson says consolidating in this way makes sense given the deep relationships with FNZ and the experience and expertise of Consilium who were recently acquired by FirstCape.

“FirstCape has a highly successful strategic partnership with FNZ as the long-standing technology provider that we will be using across all our businesses, JBWere NZ, Harbour and Consilium," Jackson says.

Anthony Habis, Group Head of APAC, Middle East and Africa at FNZ, said: "We are delighted to be deepening our partnership with FirstCape and JBWere NZ. Through FNZ’s global wealth management platform and our shared commitment to technology leadership, we are proud to be powering FirstCape’s strategy to deliver a seamless and client-centric experience across its businesses."
