It's been a quiet couple of weeks on the home loan rate front but today TSB has made a move.

It has rolled out a 4.49% two-year special rate. Clearly a bit of a marketing tactic as it's only one change, but still significant.

Here is how it stacks up against competitors.

After last week's dreadful GDP numbers and calls for more OCR cuts it'll be interesting to see who else pulls the trigger on rate cuts.
