 ce New Zealand and Professional IQ College (PIQ)\, with input from the maj
 or banks.\nThe workshop includes NZQA accredited Residential Property Lend
 ing Strand training and business and specialist lending.\nAs well as atten
 ding the three-day workshop\, you will be required to complete 4 unit stan
 dard assessments after the course to receive the Residential Property Lend
 ing Strand Certificate. You have up to 3 months to complete this.\nThe cou
 rse&rsquo\;s practical format prepares new advisers for their regulatory r
 equirements\; how to work with lenders\; meeting client needs and the prac
 ticalities of running a mortgage advice business.\nThe course also incorpo
 rates feedback from the industry and has received strong support from both
  adviser dealer groups and lenders.\nBeing in-house\, you gain the benefit
 s of being with other students in an interactive and open learning environ
 ment that delivers greater levels of learning than other &lsquo\;online&rs
 quo\; or &lsquo\;remote&rsquo\; courses. The course content includes loan 
 structures and best practice loan applications.\nWhat you need to know: Re
 quired Qualification to be a Financial Adviser (Residential Property Lendi
 ng) &ndash\; from 29 June 2020 From 29 June 2020 all new financial adviser
 s will be required\, under the new legislation and regulations\, to attain
  the NZ Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 (NZCFSL5) in their area 
 of advice.\nBy attaining now your Residential Property Lending module of t
 hat qualification\, you have started down the path of meeting your future 
 requirements!\nHowever after 29 June 2020 new advisers will also have to a
 ttain the &lsquo\;core component&rsquo\; of the qualification &ndash\; so 
 we highly recommend you sign up for this also.\nPIQ College in conjunction
