 tween Financial Advice New Zealand and Professional IQ College (PIQ)\, wit
 h input from the major banks.\nThe workshop includes NZQA accredited Resid
 ential Property Lending Strand training and business and specialist lendin
 g. As well as attending the three-day workshop\, you will be required to c
 omplete 4 unit standard assessments after the course to receive the Reside
 ntial Property Lending Strand Certificate. You have up to 3 months to comp
 lete this.\nThe course&rsquo\;s practical format prepares new advisers for
  their regulatory requirements\; how to work with lenders\; meeting client
  needs and the practicalities of running a mortgage advice business. The c
 ourse also incorporates feedback from the industry and has received strong
  support from both adviser dealer groups and lenders.\nBeing in-house\, yo
 u gain the benefits of being with other students in an interactive and ope
 n learning environment that delivers greater levels of learning than other
  &lsquo\;online&rsquo\; or &lsquo\;remote&rsquo\; courses. The course cont
 ent includes loan structures and best practice loan applications.\nWhat yo
 u need to know:\n\nRequired Qualification to be a Financial Adviser (Resid
 ential Property Lending) &ndash\; from 29 June 2020\nFrom 29 June 2020 all
  new financial advisers will be required\, under the new legislation and r
 egulations\, to attain the NZ Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 (N
 ZCFSL5) in their area of advice. By attaining now your Residential Propert
 y Lending module of that qualification\, you have started down the path of
  meeting your future requirements! However after 29 June 2020 new advisers
  will also have to attain the &lsquo\;core component&rsquo\; of the qualif
 ication &ndash\; so we highly recommend you sign up for this also.\nPIQ Co
 llege in conjunction with Skills Org offer the Level 5 &lsquo\;Training Ag
 reement Rebate&rsquo\; of $550+GST for students in employment who sign up 
 to the entire qualification. Please read as strict conditions apply.\n\nNo
 te: if you are already a financial adviser and going to be under a Financi
 al Advice Provider &lsquo\;transitional licence&rsquo\; you will have unti
 l June 29 2022 to attain your full competency requirements &ndash\; that i

 ng strand of the NZCFSL5.\n \nWorkshop fees - $1\,295.00 plus GST\nThis in
 cludes course material\, morning and afternoon tea\, lunch and the NZQA as
 sessment (residential property strand only) and 15 hours CPD.\n \nCourse T
 utor - Angi Mann BA BBS Cert AdEd\nAngi has had extensive training and adv
 iser experience in the lending sector and wider financial services and is 
 an approved Professional IQ College assessor for NZQA qualifications for l
 evel 4 and 5 qualifications.\nShe has attained BA and Business Studies deg
 ree from Massey University and holds a Massey qualification in Adult Educa
 tion\n \nWorkshop Requirements\nTo complete the course you must hold a NZ 
 passport or permanent residency\, you will be required to provide your pas
 sport or birth certificate as proof. Also\, students must meet the English
  language requirements.\n \nGetting Accreditation\nAttaining the Residenti
 al Lending module is an education requirement to become accredited with so
 me New Zealand lenders. It is best to discuss your situation with the lend
 ers to understand your individual accreditation requirements.\nSome lender
 s also require advisers to belong to an &lsquo\;aggregation&rsquo\; group 
 Please note that the aggregation groups may also have their own requiremen
 ts you must meet. Again\, it is best to have a chat with the groups too. F
 ind out what they offer and which one best fits you.\nIf you would like to

 priate person. Course cancellation The course will not go ahead if there i
 s an insufficient number of enrolments. You will be notified of cancellati
 on at least 5 working days prior to the course start date.\nIMPORTANT NOTE
 : If you are travelling to Auckland for this course we advise you take out
  flight-insurance cover with Jetstar or Air New Zealand in case of disrupt
 ions\, unexpected travel issues or course cancellation. If you wish to can
 cel &ndash\; a minimum of 5 working days notice is required to cancel your
  place on the course\, otherwise\, you will be charged a 25% cancellation
