TOWER adds roaming underwriter

TOWER Health & Life has appointed Roharn Smith as Roaming Underwriter. He will be responsible for providing balanced, flexible and commercial underwriting assessments of applications from clients of key independent advisers, both from the TOWER office in Auckland and with independent advisers in the field.

He has extensive experience in the insurance industry, having been a Key Account Manager and Underwriter for Sovereign, as well as having experience in Underwriting in the United Kingdom.

It's a shame that only those advisers in Auckland have access to such good service. There are 2 other major centres in NZ that could do with some face to face input and with technology as it is these days, there's no reason why companies should be shying away from having remote staff.
