More lenders to join Welcome Home Loans; SBS axes tiers

The Co-operative Bank has been accepted as a lender in the Welcome Home Loans scheme. [READ ON]

Also this morning SBS and its subsidiary HBS have axed their two-tier pricing structure for home loans. At the same it has made some increases with the one-year and 18-month rate going up 10 points each; two-years up nine points, so it sits just below 6.00% and the three and five year rates increasing 15 and 14 points respectively.
