Perpetual Guardian is writing wills for the New Zealand Defence Force as a supplier to Milestone Direct.
It was announced earlier this month than Milestone had won the contract to supply financial advice to the NZDF, after a tender process.
Charlotte Lockhart, Perpetual Guardian’s sales and marketing director, said: “We have been providing estate planning services to the NZDF through our connection to the NZDF’s insurance provider, Aon. Milestone group was brought on in the last month to provide financial planning services to the NZDF, and connected with Perpetual Guardian as we were already the supplier to the NZDF for estate planning. Financial advisers meet with clients and through that process identify estate planning gaps, so there is a natural fit.”
