On the other side of the Tasman, AIA head of distribution for health Craig Parker named licensees taking part in a three-month launch of a new brand, myOwn, from next month.

It will offer consumers health and life insurance, bundled with its Vitality and wellness programme.

The insurer is collaborating with not-for-profit health fund GMHBA and South African financial services provider Discovery in the launch.

Edwards said there were no changes in New Zealand in that area at present.
