Association CEO joins Trustees Executors board

Richard Klipin, the chief executive of the Financial Services Council of New Zealand has joined the board of Trustees Executors.

His appointment fills the final independent directorship position on the board of New Zealand’s oldest trustee company.

Klipin is well-known in both the Australian and New Zealand financial services sectors, having previously held senior executive roles at Commonwealth Bank (Sovereign Assurance), ANZ Banking Group (Millennium 3), the Association of Financial Advisers and ING.

He joined the FSC in 2016.

“Richard has an impressive 30-year trans-Tasman career covering the commercial and non- profit sectors," TE chief executive Ryan Bessemer said. “His appointment complements other recent high calibre independent director appointments on the board, which will play a key role in driving the next phase of Trustees Executors’ ambitious transformation and growth strategy.”
