Swapsies at AIA

Executives swap roles at AIA.

Current AIA NZ Executive Committee members Alex Kühnast and Ben Lovelock have swapped roles, meaning Kühnast has assumed the role of Chief Risk Officer and Lovelock has become Chief Product and Marketing Officer.

AIA Chief Executive Nick Stanhope said the changes reflect strong leadership depth and thoughtful succession planning.

“Alex and Ben each bring distinctive and complementary strengths. This transition positions AIA NZ well to continue delivering strong customer outcomes, disciplined growth and robust risk and governance practices.”

Kühnast brings deep international insurance leadership experience to the Chief Risk Officer role while Lovelock brings extensive actuarial, finance and governance experience to the Product and Marketing portfolio.

There are no other changes to AIA New Zealand’s strategy or customer commitments.
