The offer is open to any customer under 56 years of age who goes through an independent financial adviser. They’ll receive the free critical illness cover of up to 10% of the life cover. The promotion is available until 31 March 2022.
General manager at Cigna, David Haak said “When the two years of free cover are up, customers will have the opportunity to easily renew to paid cover.”
If a customer chooses to keep their cover and switches to paid critical illness cover after two years, advisers will earn full commission on the renewed business.
The company says the move comes following a positive response from it’s recent ‘Good things come in two’s campaign’ and it’s Christmas marketing toolkits.
Haak added “We've developed another handy toolkit that has everything advisers need to promote this offer to their customers on social media and via email during the campaign period, all they need to do is copy and paste then connect with their customers.”
