Bronwyn Kirwan is departing for a new role outside the company and Dave Winspear and Seema Bangera being appointed to new executive roles.
Chief Operations Officer, Dave Winspear is moving into the Chief Commercial Officer role at Fidelity Life following Bronwyn Kirwan’s appointment as Chief Executive Officer of Apex Advice.
Having been with Fidelity Life for four years, including as Head of Individual Life, Dave brings deep experience from across the business along with strong relationships with our adviser network. Prior to Fidelity Life, Dave held senior roles, at Australian life insurer TAL for 13 years.
The move has opened up an expanded opportunity for respected Chief Claims Officer Seema Bangera who picks up responsibility for operations to become Chief Claims & Operations Officer. Seema will now lead the end-to-end customer value chain, ensuring a seamless experience across Customer Onboarding, Operations and Claims.
These changes reinforce Fidelity Life’s commitment to continuity and delivering consistent outcomes for its advisers, partners and customers.
Fidelity Life CEO Campbell Mitchell paid tribute to the significant contribution Bronwyn Kirwan has made:
“Bronwyn has played a critical role in driving sustainable growth, leading major transformation initiatives, and strengthening our market position.
“We wish Bronwyn well and look forward to the impact Dave and Seema will have in their new roles.”
In other changes, Craig Wagstaff, Head of Individual Life, now has an expanded role as Head of Distribution & Marketing, reflecting the continued growth and importance of this area.
Farhaad Kachwalla has been permanently appointed as Appointed Actuary following an impressive period in the acting role.
