Booster to buy Lifetime advice group

Booster Group has has made an offer to buy all shares in financial advice business Lifetime Group Holdings Limited.

Booster Group, which owns fund manager Booster Investment Management and payments infrastructure company Banzpay, has made its offer to Lifetime shareholders, which is now under consideration.

Christchurch-based Lifetime has a broad shareholding. Booster's Tahi fund is the largest shareholder with 31%. The second biggest shareholder is Lifetime managing director Peter Cave and his partner Tina Evans with a 16% stake.

Booster Group Chair Paul Foley says Lifetime is one of New Zealand's largest and most respected financial advice businesses and has significant future growth potential.
