Infrastructure investor Morrison adds former US Dep Sec of State
Global infrastructure investment manager Morrison has appointed former United States Deputy Secretary of State Dr Kurt Campbell as the first member.
The Advisory Group has been formed to provide insight across geopolitics, macroeconomic policy and global markets. As its foundation member, Dr Campbell will provide advice and insights to Morrison and some of its key partners on geopolitical developments in key markets, supporting the firm’s growth in North America, Europe and Asia.
Dr Campbell brings decades of experience at the highest levels of international policy and diplomacy, with deep expertise in geopolitics and the intersection of strategic competition, technology and economic development.
Most recently, Dr Campbell served as United States Deputy Secretary of State. He was previously the White House Coordinator for the Indo‑Pacific, as well as Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential architects of modern United States policy in the Indo‑Pacific and has worked closely with governments, businesses and investors across the United States, Asia, Europe and Australasia throughout his career.
“Infrastructure is increasingly shaped by geopolitical forces, from the energy security and technology supply chains to capital flows and regulation,” said Dr Campbell.
“Morrison’s global footprint and long‑term investment approach position it well to navigate this environment.”
