nib adds specialist skills to its board
nib New Zealand has appointed Josephine Gagan and Sophie Haslem as non-executive directors to its board.
Gagan is chair of the New Zealand Health Group; on the board of the Auckland Hospital Foundation, and Chair of the Minds for Minds Trust. She was group chief executive of the New Zealand Health Group Limited, and for more than two decades, she was chief executive and owner of Geneva Healthcare, based in Auckland.
She is a leading sector strategist within healthcare. Her skills include leadership management, workforce diversity and strategic management in the healthcare sector.
Haslem is current chair at Kordia Group and is deputy chair at CentrePort. She is also on the board of Rangatira, Payments New Zealand, Livestock Improvement Corporation. Haslem was also on the board of Ngai Tahi Holdings Corporations, an investment company managing more than $2 billion in tribal assets.
