The Reserve Bank will walk a tight rope this week between acknowledging it cannot keep the Official Cash Rate (OCR) at 2.5% as long as previously intimated, while avoiding fuelling market expectations of rate hikes starting as soon as early next year, this week’s economic commentaries suggest.
