Frank Habrle who formerly headed Macquarie’s operations in New Zealand has taken a full time role as executive director with InvestmentLink.
Habrle was formerly a director of the electronic information delivery company.
He says the decision to join InvestmentLink full time is to take advantage of the current window of opportunity and get the business up and running.
Currently five managers, BT Funds Management, Armstrong Jones, National Bank, Macquarie and Sun Alliance are downloading data to InvestmentLink. Bank of New Zealand and Westpac are coming on soon, he says and Trustees Executors and Equitable have signed up.
To date 23 advisors (including groups) are signed up to use the system and that number is expected to rise to 40 by June.Jason Huddy has been appointed to run Macquarie funds management in New Zealand.
