Russell Gray has left the Public Trust Office and joined a new mortgage finance company jointly established by National Mutual and Harcourts real estate.
The new company plans to write and securitise mortgages.
Gray is the second senior manager to leave the Public Trust recently.
His departure was sudden and unexpected as he was due to be promoted to deputy public trustee.
The office has also lost its general manager business development, Simon White, to Wrightsons.
