by Philip Macalister

John Rowley, one of the public faces of the sharebroking industry, has decided to step back from the business.
Rowley has been with SBC Warburg (formerly Buttle Wilson) for 12 years and is leaving to seek some new challenges.
At the firm he has worked his way up from senior institutional dealer to chairman of Warburg's New Zealand executive committee.

Charlotte Yew has taken over running Jardine Fleming's Taipan Trust from SK Lim.
Yew works for Jardine Fleming Investment Management (Singapore).

As from December 5 this fund will no longer invest in Japanese or Australian equities.
