Prudential's investment team in Sydney (Prudential Portfolio Managers Australia - PPMA) has been strengthened with the appointment of Warwick Johnson, 37, as head of equities.PPMA manages the investment funds for Prudential New Zealand.
Johnson joins Prudential from HSBC Asset Management in Tokyo where he was head of investments and director for the Asia Pacific Region.
"This is an additional appointment as part of our ongoing commitment to enhance our funds management capacity in the this region," PPMA chief executive Steve Cook says.
"With more than 11 years investment experience both in Australia and overseas, Warwick will be an excellent complement to our global investment team."
