James Turnbull has joined Macquarie New Zealand Ltd as its business development manager.
Turnbull previously headed up Countrywide Bank's fund mangement operation.
His appointment fills a vacancy left by Jonty Kelt's departure.
Macquarie New Zealand manager Jason Huddy says it's a more senior appointment and signals Macquarie's increasing push into the market with its Gilt Edge Access Account cash management trust, which now manages $54 million in New Zealand.
