Monday, September 7th 1998, 12:00AM

by Philip Macalister

Cherie Simeti passed away away peacefully at home on Saturday 5 September, aged 37, after a long struggle with cancer. She has been a member of the Association of Investment Advisers and Financial Planners (IAFP) since 1992 and was awarded the CFP mark on its introduction into New Zealand.
Cherie and her husband Barry Stewart worked together before forming Stewart Hassan and Associates with Rosemary and Simon Hassan.
Cherie will be remembered as a determined, strong, energetic, vibrant person who had a real zest for life, with a very good sense of fun.

She supported her husband Barry tremendously while he served as chairman of the IAFP Northern Region Management Committee, and then chairman of the National Board.
Cherie was a respected member of the IAFP and her considerable involvement and support will be sadly missed. As will her bright positive outlook on life and her warm friendly smile. Full obituary
