National Bank of New Zealand director of risk management, David Bennett, has been appointed chief executive officer of recently acquired Countrywide Banking.
Bennett replaces David Wolfenden as Countrywide's chief executive.
NBNZ is yet to decide on whether to maintain Countrywide as a separate brand within the bank group, or if its banking licence will be kept.
