Tower Asset Management (TAM) has appointed Greg Whitten, property investments manager. Whitten is responsible for directing TAM’s property strategy and operations, heading up a division responsible for a $240 million portfolio comprising 15 commercial properties.
Whitten was formerly chief executive officer of Prudential Portfolio Managers (PPM) in NZ and, more recently, chief investment officer of PPM in Australia. He has significant property experience at strategic, investment and management levels. He had a key role in the successful redevelopment of the Riccarton Mall in Christchurch and was on the boards of the Christchurch Parkroyal and the Casino.
